Praca “Homesick” jest refleksją na temat sytuacji, która dzieje się obecnie na polsko-białoruskiej granicy. Tysiące migrantów ryzykują życie, by znaleźć miejsce, które mogliby nazwać domem. Przez to, że nie mają realnej szansy na legalne zamieszkanie w którymkolwiek z krajów UE, podejmują się ryzykownej przeprawy przez Białoruś do Polski przez lasy i bagna. Dzięki przyzwoleniu, przez białoruski reżim, ten sposób przekraczania granicy stał się bardzo popularny
Ten teoretycznie najprostszy sposób na dostanie się do europejskich krajów jest  jednak dla wielu z nich śmiertelną pułapką. W skutek wymarznięcia i chorób zmarło wiele osób w tym kobiet i dzieci. Można zakładać, że przez niskie temperatury i śniegu ludzi, którzy w najbliższym czasie umrą, będzie regularnie przybywało. 
Polska Straż Graniczna względem migrantów stosuje nielegalne pushbacki, cofając ich na białoruską stronę.  Koce termiczne użyte w pracy są jedną z pierwszych rzeczy, którą otrzymują do owinięcia odnalezieni przez aktywistów w lesie migranci, którym udało się nie wpaść w ręce pograniczników.

The work ‚Homesick’ is a reflection on the situation that is currently happening on the Polish-Belarusian border. Thousands of migrants from Middle Eastern countries risk their lives to find a place they could call home. Because they have no real chance of legal residence in any of the EU countries, they take a risk of crossing from Belarus to Poland. With the Belarusian regime’s approval, this has become a very common way of crossing the border. The plan seems very simple - just fly to Minsk, reach the border and enter Poland through the forests.
This apparently easiest way to get to Europe is, however, a death trap for many. As a result of frostbite and disease, many people have died, including women and children. It can be assumed that due to the low temperatures and snow, the number of people who will die in the near future will regularly increase.
The Polish Border Guard applies a pushback strategy to the migrants caught in the forests and brings them back to the Belarusian side, which effectively means bringing people deep into the forest from which they came and abandoning them there. Thermal blankets used in this exhibition are one of the first things migrants receive once found by activists who try to help those stuck in the forest.
